Two challenges

POSNANIA is both a unique shopping center and the largest commercial investment in Central Europe of the area of ​​100 000 m² whose value is estimated at 1.2 billion PLN.

Before the event we were given two tasks: to stand out from 5 five similar events, which in recent years had taken place in the city and to highlight the extraordinary impetus and complexity of the investment made by APSYS Group.

Solutions

The three pillars of actions

In order to fully show the complexity of the city and its lifestyle vive, the implementation of the project was based on three pillars:

– The contest for fashion designers- Dress for the star. This was a unique project, which enabled young fashion designers to start their professional career making a splash– they were supposed to sew a dress, which was then assessed by the truly star-studded jury. The members of the chapter were: Łukasz Jemioł, Anna Zejdler-Ibisz, Marcelina Zawadzka, Anna Zeman and … Eva Longoria herself. Out of more than 50 contestants, the jury selected 5 who were invited to the unique educational workshop whose could be seen during Posnania Grand Opening.

– The Opening actually consisted of 4 different events organized in one day, all hotted up by Eva Longoria’s presence. The actress, invited by The Limited visited Poland for the first time. One of the most important client’s expectations was receiving the rights to use the her image throughout the whole communication connected with Posnania Grand Opening. The actress then became the face of the shopping center and the axis of the activities carried out within the framework of communication connected with the Openig, giving it an international dimension. October 19, 2016 was the culmination of 10-month preparation. We coordinated transfer from the airport to Posnania Centre for 300 special guests, who arrived from France in two chartered planes especially on this occasion. In 10 hours we carried out: a closed event for over 2 000 visitors (including 500 special guests), two press conferences attended by nearly 100 journalists and Posnania Grand Opening event attended by over 40 000 people. The main star of each of these events was of course Eva Longoria.

– Posnania Live. To further emphasize the uniqueness of the Centre and its motto #allaboutlifestyle we created the format which was so far available only for professional TV stations. This is how Posnania Live, broadcasting from 20 to 22 October 2016 was created.

Posnania Live:
a) the television which showed over the 20 Polish theatre, film and internet stars including Hanna Lis, Ekskluzywny Menel, Mezo, Izabella Miko, Joanna Horodyńska, Omena Mensah, Weronika Rosati, Jessica Mercedes and Barbara Kurdej-Szatan,
b) television with professional technical facilities
c) television which was extremely dynamically hosted by Filip Chajzer one of the most recognizable presenters in Poland.

The impressive effect

On a rainy Wednesday Posnania was visited by over 42 000 visitors. In the following three days it was more than 300 000 people and in a month – 1.3 million. The Grand Opening received wide coverage in Polish and foreign television and media (more than 2 000 publications a month, AVE – 3 million PLN). And – the most importantly – both Polish celebrities and the citizens of Poznań have fallen in love with Posnania- the Lifestyle & Shopping Centre!
